In the UK, the consumer confidence rose to a level of -7.00 in February, compared to a level of -9.00 in the previous month.
Euro-zone consumer confidence index rose in February
In the Euro-zone, the final consumer confidence index climbed to a level of -6.60 in February, compared to a reading of -8.10 in the previous month.
Euro-zone business climate indicator climbed in February
In the Euro-zone, the business climate indicator recorded a rise to a level of -0.04 in February. In the prior month, the business climate indicator had recorded a revised to a level of -0.19.
Euro-zone economic sentiment indicator climbed in February
In the Euro-zone, the economic sentiment indicator advanced to a level of 103.50 in February. In the previous month, the economic sentiment indicator had registered a revised reading of 102.60.
US annualised GDP rose in 4Q 2019
In the US, the second estimate of annualised gross domestic product recorded a rise of 2.10% on a QoQ basis in 4Q 2019. In the prior quarter, the annualised GDP had registered a similar rise.
US pending home sales rose in January
In the US, pending home sales registered a rise of 5.20% on a MoM basis in January. Pending home sales had fallen by a revised 4.30% in the prior month.
