In the US, unemployment rate dropped to 10.20% in July, compared to a rate of 11.10% in the prior month. Market anticipations were for the unemployment rate to ease to 10.50%.
US nonfarm payrolls increased more than expected in July
In the US, nonfarm payrolls advanced by 1763.00 K in July, compared to a revised rise of 4791.00 K in the prior month. Market participants were expecting employment to increase by 1600.00 K.
