In the UK, house price balance climbed to 44.00% in August, compared to a level of 12.00% in the prior month.
US JOLTs job openings unexpectedly climbed in July
In the US, the JOLTs job openings unexpectedly rose to 6618.00 K in July, compared to a revised level of 6001.00 K in the previous month. Market anticipations were for the JOLTs job openings to ease to 6000.00 K.
US number of mortgage applications rose in the week ended 4 September 2020
In the US, the number of mortgage applications rose 2.90% on a weekly basis in the week ended 4 September 2020, compared to a drop of 2.00% in the previous week.
Japanese machinery orders rose more than expected in July
In Japan, machinery orders climbed 6.30% on a MoM basis in July, compared to a drop of 7.60% in the prior month. Markets were expecting machinery orders to record a rise of 1.90%.
Australian consumer inflation expectations dropped in September
In Australia, the consumer inflation expectations dropped to 3.10% in September, compared to 3.30% in the previous month.
