UK Halifax house price index advanced in October

In the UK, the Halifax house price index recorded a rise of 7.50% on a YoY basis in three months to October, compared to a rise of 7.30% in the previous month.

German industrial production rose less than expected in September

In Germany, industrial production climbed 1.60% on a MoM basis in September, compared to a revised rise of 0.50% in prior month. Markets were expecting seasonally adjusted industrial production to record an advance of 2.70%.

US non-farm payrolls advanced in October

In the US, non-farm payrolls advanced by 638.00K in October, compared to a revised gain of 672.00K jobs in the prior month. Markets were expecting non-farm payrolls to record an advance of 600.00K jobs.

US unemployment rate fell in October

In the US, the unemployment rate recorded a drop to 6.90% in October, compared to a rate of 7.90% in the prior month.

US average hourly earnings of all employees rose less than expected in October

In the US, average hourly earnings of all employees climbed 0.10% on a MoM basis in October, compared to a revised flat reading in the previous month. Markets were expecting average hourly earnings of all employees to record a rise of 0.20%.
