UK house price balance rose in October
In the UK, house price balance registered a rise to 68.00% in October, compared to a revised level of 62.00% in the previous month.
Christine Lagarde: Covid-19 recession is highly unusual
European Central Bank President, Christine Lagarde, indicated that the Covid-19 crisis has produced a highly unusual recession and recovery is likely to be uneven. Further, she pledged to continue to support the economy through the bond buying programme.
US number of mortgage applications fell in the week ended 06 November 2020
In the US, number of mortgage applications eased 0.50% on a weekly basis in the week ended 06 November 2020, compared to an advance of 3.80% in the previous week.
Japan PPI dropped in October
In Japan, the producer price index (PPI) fell 2.1% on a YoY basis in October, compared to a drop of 0.8% in the previous month.
