UK Rightmove house price index eased in November
In the UK, the Rightmove house price index dropped 0.50% on a MoM basis in November, compared to a rise of 1.10% in the previous month.
Euro-zone GDP climbed less than expected in 3Q 2020
In the Euro-zone, seasonally adjusted second estimate of GDP recorded a rise of 12.60% on a QoQ basis in 3Q 2020, compared to a drop of 11.80% in prior quarter. Markets were expecting GDP to record an advance of 12.70%.
Euro-zone trade surplus widened in September
In the Euro-zone, seasonally adjusted trade surplus expanded to €24.80 billion in September, compared to a revised trade surplus of €21.00 billion in the prior month.
US consumer sentiment index unexpectedly fell in November
In the US, the preliminary consumer sentiment index unexpectedly fell to a level of 77.00 in November, compared to a level of 81.80 in the previous month. Markets were expecting the index to climb to a level of 82.00.
US PPI advanced more than expected in October
In the US, the producer price index (PPI) advanced 0.50% on a YoY basis in October, compared to a rise of 0.40% in the prior month. Markets were anticipating producer prices to rise 0.40%.
