UK housing price balance advanced more than expected in November
In the UK, housing price balance climbed to 66.0% in November, compared to a revised reading of 67.0% in the previous month. Markets were expecting housing price balance to advance to 60.0%.
Germany current account surplus narrowed in October
In Germany, non-seasonally adjusted current account balance narrowed to €22.50 billion in October, compared to a revised surplus of €25.20 billion in the prior month.
German trade surplus widened more than anticipated in October
In Germany, the seasonally adjusted trade surplus widened to €18.20 billion October, compared to a revised surplus of €17.60 billion in the prior month. Markets were expecting trade surplus to widen to €18.00 billion.
US JOLTs job openings rose in October
In the US, the JOLTs job openings recorded a rise to 6652.00 K in October, compared to a revised reading of 6494.00 K in the prior month.
US number of mortgage applications declined in the week ended 04 December 2020
In the US, the number of mortgage applications fell 1.20% on a weekly basis in the week ended 04 December 2020, compared to a drop of 0.60% in the prior week.
