US industrial production unexpectedly dropped in September
In the US, industrial production fell 1.30% on a MoM basis in September, compared to a revised drop of 0.10% in the prior month. Markets were expecting industrial production to record a rise of 0.20%.
US manufacturing production dropped in September
In the US, manufacturing production dropped 0.70% on a MoM basis in September, compared to a revised drop of 0.40% in the prior month.
US housing market index unexpectedly rose in October
In the US, the housing market index advanced to 80.00 in October, compared to a level of 76.00 in the previous month. Markets were expecting the index to remain steady at 76.00.
