UK house price index declined in November
In the UK, the house price index dropped 0.60% on a MoM basis in November, compared to a rise of 1.80% in the previous month.
Euro-zone industrial production fell less than expected in September
In the Euro-zone, seasonally adjusted industrial production dropped 0.20% on a MoM basis in September, compared to a revised drop of 1.70% in the prior month. Markets were expecting industrial production to record a fall of 0.50%.
US consumer sentiment index unexpectedly dropped in November
In the US, the consumer sentiment index fell to 66.80 in November, compared to a level of 71.70 in the previous month. Markets were expecting the index to rise to 72.40.
US JOLTS job openings fell less than expected in September
In the US, the JOLTS job openings dropped to 10.43 million in September, compared to a level of 10.44 million jobs in the prior month. Markets were expecting the JOLTS job openings to fall to a level of 10.30 million.
China’s retail sales unexpectedly climbed in October
In China, retail sales advanced 4.90% on a YoY basis in October, compared to a rise of 4.40% in the previous month. Markets were expecting retail sales to record a rise of 3.50%.
