Euro-zone consumer confidence index dropped more than expected in November
In the Euro-zone, the flash consumer confidence index dropped to a level of -6.80 in November, compared to a reading of -4.80 in the prior month. Markets were expecting the index to record a fall to -5.50.
US existing home sales rose in October
In the US, existing home sales climbed 0.80% on a MoM basis in October, compared to a rise of 7.00% in the prior month.
US Chicago Fed national activity index rose in October
In the US, the Chicago Fed national activity index registered a rise to 0.76 in in October, compared to a revised level of -0.18 in the previous month.
Australian Commonwealth Bank services PMI rose more than expected in November
In Australia, the Commonwealth Bank services PMI advanced to a level of 55.0 in November, compared to a reading of 51.8 in the previous month. Markets were expecting the services PMI to record an advance to 52.7.
