UK RICS house price balance rose more than expected in November
In the UK, the RICS housing price balance advanced to 71.0% in November, compared to revised similar rise in the previous month. Markets were expecting the balance to rise to 65.0%.
US JOLTs job openings unexpectedly climbed in October
In the US, the JOLTs job openings unexpectedly advanced to a level of 11,033.00 K in October, compared to a reading of 10,438.00 K in the previous month. Markets were anticipating the JOLTs job openings to fall to a level of 10,369.00 K.
US number of mortgage applications advanced in the week ended 03 December 2021
In the US, the number of mortgage applications recorded a rise of 2.00% on a weekly basis in the week ended 3 December 2021, compared to a drop of 7.20% in the prior week.
Chinese CPI advanced less than expected in November
In China, the consumer price index (CPI) climbed 2.30% on a YoY basis in November, compared to a rise of 1.50% in the previous month. Markets were expecting the CPI to rise 2.50%.
Chinese PPI rose more than expected in November
In China, the producer price index (PPI) recorded a rise of 12.90% on a YoY basis in November, compared to a rise of 13.50% in the prior month. Market expectations were for the PPI to advance 12.40%.
