German trade surplus unexpectedly narrowed in October
In Germany, seasonally adjusted trade surplus unexpectedly narrowed to €12.50 billion in October, compared to a revised surplus of €12.90 billion in the prior month.
German current account surplus narrowed in October
In Germany, non-seasonally adjusted current account surplus narrowed to €15.40 billion in October, compared to a revised surplus of €20.00 billion in the prior month.
US number of initial jobless claims dropped in the week ended 3 December 2021
In the US, the seasonally adjusted number of initial jobless claims dropped to 184.00 K in week ended 03 December 2021, compared to a revised reading of 227.00 K in the prior week.
Japan PPI rose more than expected in November
In Japan, the producer price index (PPI) advanced 9.00% in November, compared to a rise of 8.00% in the previous month. Markets were expecting the PPI to record a rise of 8.50%.
