UK BRC shop price index rose in December
In the UK, the shop price index advanced 1.50% on a YoY basis in December, compared to a rise of 0.80% in the prior month.
US MBA mortgage applications jumped in the week ended 28 January 2022
In the US, mortgage applications climbed 12.00% on a weekly basis in the week ended 28 January 2022, compared to a drop of 7.10% in the previous week.
US ADP employment change declined in January
In the US, the private sector employment dropped by 301.00 K in January, compared to a revised rise of 776.00 K jobs in the previous month. Markets were expecting the private sector employment to rise by 207.00 K.
Australia services PMI rose in January
In Australia, the services PMI rose to a level of 46.60 in January, compared to a reading of 45.00 in the prior month.
Australian trade surplus narrowed in December
In Australia, trade surplus narrowed to A$8356.00 million in December, compared to a revised surplus of A$9756.00 million in the previous month.
