US goods trade deficit narrowed in February
In the US, goods trade deficit narrowed to $106.60 billion in February, compared to a deficit of $108.90 billion in the prior month.
US Dallas Fed manufacturing business index declined less than expected in March
In the US, the Dallas Fed manufacturing business index declined to a level of 8.70 in March, compared to a reading of 14.00 in the prior month. Markets were expecting the index to decline to 8.00.
Australia retail sales rose more than expected in February
In Australia, the retail sales advanced 1.80% on a MoM basis in February, compared to a similar rise in the previous month. Markets were expecting retail sales to advance 1.00%.
Japanese unemployment rate unexpectedly declined in February
In Japan, the unemployment rate unexpectedly fell to 2.70% in February, compared to 2.80% in the prior month. Markets were expecting the unemployment rate to remain unchanged at 2.80%.
