UK retail sales across all sectors rose in October

In the UK, the BRC retail sales across all sectors rose 1.20% on a YoY basis in October, compared toa rise of 1.80% in the previous month

UK Halifax house prices unexpectedly fell in October

In the UK, the Halifax house prices unexpectedly fell 0.40% on a MoM basis in October, compared to a fall of 0.10% in the prior month. Markets were expecting the house prices to record a rise of 1.20%.

Euro-zone Sentix investor confidence index advanced more than anticipated in November

In the Euro-zone, the Sentix investor confidence index climbed to -30.90 in November, compared to a reading of -38.30 in the previous month. Market anticipations were for the index to rise to -35.00.

German industrial production unexpectedly advanced in September

In Germany, industrial production unexpectedly rose 0.60% on a MoM basis in September, compared to a revised drop of 1.20% in the prior month. Market expectations were for industrial production to record a drop of 0.80%.

US consumer credit rose in September

In the US, consumer credit rose by $24.98 billion in September, compared to $32.24 billion in the previous month.
