UK GDP declined less than expected in 3Q 2022
In the UK, flash GDP fell 0.20% on a QoQ basis in 3Q 2022, compared to an advance of 0.20% in the prior quarter. Markets expectations were for GDP to record a fall of 0.50%.
UK industrial production unexpectedly rose in September
In the UK, industrial production climbed 0.20% on a MoM basis in September, compared to a revised drop of 1.40% in the prior month. Markets were expecting industrial production to record a drop of 0.20%.
UK manufacturing production recorded a flat reading in September
In the UK, manufacturing production recorded a flat reading on a MoM basis in September, compared to a revised drop of 1.10% in the prior month.
Germany CPI climbed in October
In Germany, the CPI advanced 10.40% on a YoY basis in October, compared to 10.00% in the previous month.
US consumer sentiment index dropped more than expected in November
In the US, the preliminary Michigan consumer sentiment index fell to a level of 54.70 in November, compared to a level of 59.90 in the prior month. Markets were expecting the index to record a fall to a level of 59.50.
