UK average earnings including bonus advanced as expected in September
In the UK, average earnings including bonus climbed 6.00% in September, at par with the market expectations and compared to a revised rise of 6.10% in the prior month.
UK ILO unemployment rate rose more than anticipated in September
In the UK, the ILO unemployment rate rose to 3.60% in September, compared to 3.50% in the previous month. Markets were anticipating the unemployment rate to remain unchanged.
Euro-zone GDP advanced as expected in 3Q 2022
In the Euro-zone, GDP rose 0.20% on a QoQ basis in 3Q 2022, at par with market anticipation and compared to a similar growth in the prior quarter.
Euro-zone economic sentiment index unexpectedly advanced in November
In the Euro-zone, the ZEW economic sentiment index unexpectedly climbed to -38.70 in November, compared to a reading of -59.70 in the previous month. Market expectations were for the index to fall to -67.00.
US PPI climbed less than anticipated in October
In the US, the producer price index (PPI) climbed 8.00% on a YoY basis in October, compared to a revised rise of 8.40% in the prior month. Markets were expecting the PPI to rise 8.30%.
