German manufacturing PMI advanced less than expected in December
In Germany, the S&P Global/BME manufacturing PMI climbed to 47.10 in December, compared to a level of 46.20 in the prior month. Markets were expecting the manufacturing PMI to rise to 47.40.
Euro-zone manufacturing PMI advanced as expected in December
In the Euro-zone, the S&P Global manufacturing PMI climbed to 47.80 in December, at par with market anticipations and compared to a level of 47.10 in the previous month.
Australia manufacturing PMI declined more than expected in December
In Australia, the manufacturing PMI dropped to 50.20 in December, compared to a level of 51.30 in the prior month. Market expectations were for the manufacturing PMI to fall to 50.40.
