UK ILO unemployment rate rose in February
In the UK, ILO unemployment rate advanced to 3.80% in the three months to February, compared to 3.70% in the previous month.
UK average earnings including bonus remained steady in February
In the UK, average earnings including bonus rose 5.90% in the three months to February, compared to a revised similar in the prior month. Markets were expecting average earnings including bonus to rise 5.10%.
Euro-zone ZEW economic sentiment unexpectedly dropped in April
In the Euro-zone, the ZEW economic sentiment unexpectedly eased to 6.40 in April, compared to a level of 10.00 in the prior month.
German ZEW economic sentiment unexpectedly declined in April
In Germany, the ZEW economic sentiment unexpectedly fell to 4.10 in April, compared to a level of 13.00 in the previous month.
US building permits unexpectedly fell in March
In the US, building permits unexpectedly dropped by 8.80% on a MoM basis in March, compared to a revised rise of 15.80% in the prior month.
