In Germany, the Ifo business climate index advanced to 93.60 in April, compared to a revised level of 93.20 in the previous month. Markets were expecting the business climate to rise to 94.00.

In Germany, the Ifo current assessment index unexpectedly declined to 95.00 in April, compared to a level of 95.40 in the prior month.
German Ifo expectations index advanced more than anticipated in April
In Germany, the Ifo expectations index rose to 92.20 in April, compared to a revised level of 91.00 in the previous month. Market anticipations were for the index to rise to 91.60.
US Chicago Fed National Activity Index remained steady in March
In the US, the Chicago Fed National Activity Index remained unchanged at -0.19 in March.
US Dallas Fed manufacturing business index unexpectedly fell in April
In the US, the Dallas Fed manufacturing business index unexpectedly dropped to -23.40 in April, compared to a level of -15.70 in the previous month.
