In the UK, the S&P Global/CIPS services PMI declined to 55.10 in May, compared to a level of 55.90 in the prior month. Market anticipations were for the PMI to fall to 55.50.
Euro-zone current account surplus unexpectedly widened in March
In the Euro-zone, current account surplus unexpectedly widened to €31.16 billion in March, compared to a revised surplus of €24.50 billion in the previous month.
Euro-zone HCOB manufacturing PMI unexpectedly fell in May
In the Euro-zone, the HCOB manufacturing PMI unexpectedly dropped to 44.60 in May, compared to a level of 45.80 in the prior month.
