In the UK, retail sales unexpectedly advanced to 0.30% on a MoM basis in May, compared to a rise of 0.50% in the prior month.
UK S&P Global/CIPS manufacturing PMI fell more than anticipated in June
In the UK, the S&P Global/CIPS manufacturing PMI declined to 46.20 in June, compared to a level of 47.10 in the prior month. Markets were expecting the PMI to drop to 46.80.
UK S&P Global/CIPS services PMI dropped more than expected in June
In the UK, the S&P Global/CIPS services PMI fell to 53.70 in June, compared to a level of 55.20 in the previous month. Market expectations were for the PMI to fall to 54.80.
Euro-zone HCOB manufacturing PMI declined more than expected in June
In the Euro-zone, the HCOB manufacturing PMI dropped to 43.60 in June, compared to a level of 44.80 in the previous month. Markets were expecting the PMI to remain steady.
Euro-zone HCOB services PMI dropped more than anticipated in June
In the Euro-zone, the HCOB services PMI fell to 52.40 in June, compared to a level of 55.10 in the prior month. Markets were expecting the PMI to drop to 54.50.
German HCOB manufacturing PMI unexpectedly fell in June
In Germany, the HCOB manufacturing PMI unexpectedly declined to 41.00 in June, compared to a level of 43.20 in the previous month.
