UK Halifax house prices fell in June

In the UK, the Halifax house prices dropped 0.10% on a MoM basis in June, compared to a revised fall of 0.20% in the previous month.

German industrial production unexpectedly dropped in May

In Germany, industrial production unexpectedly fell 0.20% on a MoM basis in May, compared to a rise of 0.30% in prior month.

US nonfarm payrolls advanced less than expected in June

In the US, nonfarm payrolls rose by 209.00 K in June, compared to a revised level of 306.00 K in the prior month. Markets were expecting nonfarm payrolls to rise by 225.00 K.

US unemployment rate fell as anticipated in June

In the US, the unemployment rate declined to 3.60% in June, at par with market expectations and compared to 3.70% in the prior month.

China CPI remained flat in June

In China, the CPI remained flat on a YoY basis in June, compared to a rise of 0.20% in the previous month. Market anticipations were for the index to remain steady at 0.20%.

China PPI declined more than expected in June

In China, the PPI dropped 5.40% on a YoY basis in June, compared to a drop of 4.60% in the previous month. Markets were expecting the index to fall 5.00%.
