UK Halifax house prices fell in July

In the UK, the Halifax house prices dropped 0.30% on a MoM basis in July, compared to a fall of 0.10% in the prior month.

UK BRC like-for-like retail sales rose in July

In the UK, the BRC like-for-like retail sales advanced 1.80% on a YoY basis in July, compared to a rise of 4.20% in the previous month.

Euro-zone Sentix investor confidence unexpectedly rose in August

In the Eurozone, the Sentix investor confidence index unexpectedly advanced to -18.90 in August, compared to a level of -22.50 in the previous month.

German industrial production dropped more than anticipated in June

In Germany, industrial production fell 1.50% on a MoM basis in June, compared to a revised fall of 0.10% in the previous month. Markets were expecting industrial production to drop 0.50%.
