UK Rightmove house price index rose in September
In the UK, the Rightmove house price index advanced 0.40% on a MoM basis in September, compared to a fall of 1.90% in the prior month.
Euro-zone trade surplus narrowed in July
In the Euro-zone, trade surplus narrowed to €2.90 billion in July, compared to a revised surplus of €8.60 billion in the previous month.
US Michigan consumer sentiment index dropped more than expected in September
In the US, the Michigan consumer sentiment index fell to 67.70 in September, compared to a level of 69.50 in the previous month. Markets were expecting the index to drop to 69.10.
US NY Empire State manufacturing index rose more than expected in September
In the US, the NY Empire State manufacturing index advanced to 1.90 in September, compared to a level of -19.00 in the prior month. Markets were expecting the index to fall to -10.00.
US industrial production climbed more than expected in August
In the US, industrial production rose 0.40% on a MoM basis in August, compared to a revised rise of 0.70% in the previous month. Markets were expecting industrial production to rise 0.10%.
