UK BRC like-for-like retail sales rose in September

In the UK, the BRC like-for-like retail sales advanced 2.80% on a YoY basis in September, compared to a rise of 4.30% in the previous month.

Euro-zone Sentix investor confidence index fell less than expected in October

In the Euro-zone, the Sentix investor confidence index declined to -21.90 in October, compared to a level of -21.50 in the previous month. Markets were expecting the index to drop to -24.00.

German industrial production dropped more than anticipated in August

In Germany, industrial production fell 0.20% on a MoM basis in August, compared to a revised fall of 0.60% in the prior month. Market anticipations were for industrial production to drop 0.10%.
