US personal income rose less than expected in September
In the US, personal income advanced 0.30% on a MoM basis in September, compared to a rise of 0.40% in the previous month. Markets were expecting personal income to rise 0.40%.
US personal spending advanced more than anticipated in September
In the US, personal spending rose 0.70% on a MoM basis in September, compared to a rise of 0.40% in the prior month. Markets were expecting personal spending to rise 0.50%.
US Michigan consumer sentiment index dropped less than expected in October
In the US, the Michigan consumer sentiment index fell to 63.80 in October, compared to a level of 68.10 in the previous month. Market anticipations were for the index to drop to 63.00.
