UK retail sales unexpectedly fell in October
In the UK, retail sales unexpectedly declined 0.30% on a MoM basis in October, compared to a revised drop of 1.10% in the previous month.
Euro-zone current account surplus unexpectedly widened in September
In the Euro-zone, current account surplus unexpectedly widened to €31.20 billion in September, compared to a revised surplus of €30.80 billion in the previous month.
US building permits rose in October
In the US, building permits advanced 1.10% on a MoM basis in October, compared to a revised a fall of 4.50% in the previous month.
US housing starts climbed in October
In the US, housing starts rose 1.90% on a MoM basis in October, compared to a revised rise of 3.1% in the previous month.
