Euro-zone’s consumer confidence index improved in November
In the Euro-zone, the consumer confidence index rose to a level of -16.90 in November, compared to a revised level of -17.80 in previous month.
US durable goods orders declined more than forecasts in October
In the US, durable goods orders fell more-than-expected by 5.4% in October, compared to a revised rise of 4.6% in the previous month.
US initial jobless claims fell more than expected in the week ended 17 November
In the US, initial jobless claims dropped to a level of 209.00 K in the week ended 17 November, compared to a revised level of 233.00 K in the previous week. Markets were expecting jobless claims to fall to a level of 225.00 K.
US consumer sentiment index fell less than market forecasts in November
In the US, the consumer sentiment index declined to 61.30 in November, compared to a reading of 63.80 in October. Markets were expecting the index to fall to 60.50.
