UK services PMI expanded in November
In the UK, the services PMI unexpectedly climbed to 50.50 in November, compared to a level of 49.50 in the previous month. Markets were expecting the index to rise to 49.50.
UK GfK consumer confidence improved in November
In the UK, the GfK consumer confidence index rose more than expected to a level of -24.00 in November, compared to -30.00 recorded in the previous month.
Euro-zone manufacturing PMI advanced in November
In the Euro-zone, the manufacturing PMI rose more-than-expected to 43.80 in November, compared to a reading of 43.10 in the prior month.
German manufacturing PMI climbed in November
In Germany, the manufacturing PMI climbed to 48.70 in November, more than market forecast for a rise to a level of 41.20 and compared to a level of 48.20 in the prior month.
Japan’s CPI rose in October
In Japan, the national consumer price index (CPI) climbed 3.3% on a YoY basis in October, compared to a 3.0% rise recorded in the previous month.
