German CPI advanced as expected in November
In Germany, the CPI rose 3.20% on a YoY basis in November, at par with market anticipations and compared to a rise of 3.80% in the previous month.
US nonfarm payrolls rose by more than anticipated in November
In the US, nonfarm payrolls climbed by 199.00K in November, compared to a level of 150.00K jobs in the previous month. Markets were expecting the nonfarm payrolls to rise by 180.00K.
US unemployment rate unexpectedly dropped in November
In the US, the unemployment rate unexpectedly fell to 3.70% in November, compared to 3.90% in the previous month.
US Michigan consumer sentiment index climbed more than forecasted in December
In the US, the Michigan consumer sentiment index rose to 69.40 in December, compared to a level of 61.30 in the prior month. Markets were expecting the index to rise to 62.00.
