The biggest profits are made by spotting and then investing in a small growth situation in the early stages. This means patience can be needed while waiting for the event to happen to create the expected ‘leap’ in value. If, however the share price falls judgement is needed on whether to take a loss (ouch) or buy more. There is also an opportunity cost while you are demonstrating enviable patience as other stocks maybe flying.
