Intel Doesn't See Its 5G Modem Chips in Smartphones Before 2020 -Reuters

--Intel Corp. (INTC) said Friday it doesn't expect its 5G modem
chips to appear in commercially-available phones until 2020,
Reuters reports.
--The company said it will ship sample chips to customers, and
non-customer 5G products, including network equipment, later this
year, the report said.
--Intel's disclosure has implications for its biggest customer,
Apple Inc. (AAPL), as it may delay a 5G iPhone, the report
said.
