Sybase Database Customers Recognized as Leaders in Winter Corporation Survey Results

SYNOPSIS: Winter Corporation announces results for its 2005
TopTen(TM) Program - bestowing first place awards on two of
Sybase's database customers. DUBLIN, Calif., Sept. 19

announced that Sybase(R) Adaptive Server(R) Enterprise and Sybase
IQ customers -- including, Citadel, comScore Networks, GuangDong
Telecom Co.Ltd., Health Insurance Review Agency and Nielsen Media
Research -- received a total of 26 Winter Corp. 2005 TopTen awards.
Of the 26 awards received by Sybase customers, 18 were in the DSS
category and eight were in the OLTP category. "With the

comScore Networks' Sybase IQ-based data warehouses received the top
honor for the third-straight time, winning first place for having
the Most Rows/Records for Windows DSS. In addition, Citadel
Investment Group Sybase ASE-based database customer received first
place for Most Rows/Records for Unix-based, OLTP systems. Other
Winter Corporation award- winning Sybase customers included Nielsen
Media Research, GuangDong Telecom Co.Ltd. and Health Insurance
