Paranaense de Energia - Copel (BM&FBOVESPA:CPLE3, CPLE5, CPLE6
/ NYSE: ELP / LATIBEX: XCOP), a company that generates,
transmits, distributes and sells power, its results for the first
nine months of 2012 (9M12).
Copel's consolidated balance sheet presents, in addition to the
figures of its wholly-owned subsidiaries (Copel Geracao e
Transmissao, Copel Distribuicao and Copel Telecomunicacoes), those
of Compagas, Elejor, UEG Araucaria, Caiua Transmissora, Costa Oeste
Transmissora, Integracao Maranhense Transmissora, Marumbi
Transmissora, Transmissora Sul Brasileira, Cutia Empreendimentos
Eolicos and Domino Holdings. The consolidated financial statements
were prepared in accordance with International Financial Reporting
Standards (IFRS) issued by the International Accounting Standards
Board (IASB), and with accounting practices adopted in Brazil.
