Ocean Harvest Technology Group plc
(AIM: OHT), a leading researcher, developer and supplier of
proprietary blended seaweed products as functional additives for
the global animal feed industry, is pleased to announce the
appointment of Gerina Eberl-Hancock and Riaan Van Dyk to the Board
as Non-Executive Directors of the Company.
Gerina has worked in business
development, sales and marketing leadership roles in the consumer
goods industry at multinational corporations and SMEs for over 20
years. Her previous role was Chief Revenue Officer and member of
the Management Committee at Hochdorf Swiss Nutrition SA, one of the
leading Swiss milk refiners providing smart nutrition based on
dairy and alternative proteins. She previously held various
marketing and business leadership positions within NESTLE SA,
driving growth in food and beverage categories in various countries
and regions including strategic and financial performance,
portfolio management, customer-oriented value chains, nutrition,
innovation, ESG and digital marketing transformations. Gerina holds
an MBA from Golden Gate University and a Bachelor's degree in
business administration from Chapman University.
Riaan has over 24 years of
experience in sales, marketing and business development in the
global animal nutrition and life sciences industries. Previously
Riaan served as Global Vice President of Chemlock Nutrition, and
General Manager for Kemin Biologics where he was also Vice
President for Marketing and Strategy for Kemin Industries
Worldwide. Before joining Kemin, Riaan was Marketing Director for
Elanco (a division of Eli Lilly) in Asia Pacific and South Africa.
Riaan's career in the animal health industry has included a
number of global roles and those with specific responsibility for
North America, Latin America, Asia Pacific and Africa. Riaan is
based in the US and he holds a Master's degree in Business and
Science, as well as multiple Bachelor's degrees in Animal Nutrition
and Science.
