UK services PMI fell more than expected in October
In the UK, the final services PMI fell to a level of 51.40 in October, compared to a reading of 56.10 in the previous month. Market expectations were the services PMI to record a drop to a level of 52.30.
Euro-zone services PMI dropped less than anticipated in October
In the Euro-zone, the final services PMI fell to a level of 46.90 in October, compared to a reading of 48.00 in the previous month. Markets were expecting services PMI to record a drop to a level of 46.20.
German services PMI fell less than expected in October
In Germany, the final services PMI dropped to a level of 49.50 in October, compared to a reading of 50.60 in the prior month. Markets were expecting services PMI to record a fall to 48.90.
US ISM services index fell in October
In the US, the ISM services index registered a drop to a level of 56.60 in October, compared to a level of 57.80 in the previous month. Markets were anticipating the ISM Services Index to drop to 57.50.
US Private sector employment rose in October
In the US, private sector employment rose by 365.00K in October, compared to a revised gain of 753.00K jobs in the prior month. Markets were expecting private sector employment to record an advance of 650.00K jobs
