UK manufacturing PMI dropped more than expected in March
In the UK, the manufacturing PMI fell to 55.20 in March, compared to a level of 58.00 in the previous month. Markets were expecting the manufacturing PMI to drop to 55.50.
Euro-zone manufacturing PMI declined more than anticipated in March
In the Euro-zone, the manufacturing PMI dropped to 56.50 in March, compared to a reading of 58.20 in the prior month. Markets were expecting the manufacturing PMI to fall to 57.00.
Germany manufacturing PMI fell more than anticipated in March
In Germany, the manufacturing PMI declined to a level of 56.90 in March, compared to a level of 58.40 in the prior month. Markets were expecting the manufacturing PMI to drop to 57.60.
US nonfarm payrolls advanced less than expected in March
In the US, nonfarm payrolls rose by 431.00 K in March, compared to a revised reading of 750.00 K in the prior month. Markets were expecting nonfarm payrolls to rise by 490.00 K.
US manufacturing PMI unexpectedly dropped in March
In the US, the ISM manufacturing PMI unexpectedly fell to 57.10 in March, compared to a reading of 58.60 in the prior month. Markets were expecting the manufacturing PMI to record an advance to 59.00.
