In the UK, gross domestic product (GDP) rose 0.10% on a MoM basis in February, compared to an advance of 0.80% in the previous month. Markets were expecting the GDP to record a rise of 0.30%.

In the UK, industrial production eased 0.60% on a MoM basis in February, compared to an advance of 0.70% in the prior month. Markets were expecting industrial production to record a rise of 0.40%.
UK manufacturing production unexpectedly dropped in February
In the UK, manufacturing production registered a drop of 0.40% on a MoM basis in February, compared to a revised rise of 0.90% in the previous month. Markets were expecting manufacturing production to record a rise of 0.40%.
UK retail sales across all sectors fell in March
In the UK, retail sales across all sectors registered a drop of 0.40% on a YoY basis in March, compared to an advance of 2.70% in the prior month.
Japan producer price index (PPI) climbed more than expected in March
In Japan, the PPI jumped 9.50% on a YoY basis in March, compared to a revised rise of 9.70% in the prior month. Markets were expecting the PPI to record a rise of 9.30%.
