US house price index climbed more than expected in July
In the US, the house price index rose 0.80% on a MoM basis in July, compared to a rise of 0.40% in the previous month. Markets were expecting the index to rise 0.50%.
US consumer confidence declined more than anticipated in September
In the US, the consumer confidence index fell to 103.00 in September, compared to a level of 108.70 in the previous month. Market anticipations were for the index to drop to 105.50.
US new home sales dropped in August
In the US, new home sales fell 8.70% on a MoM basis in August, compared to a rise of 8.00% in the previous month.
US Richmond Fed manufacturing index improved in September
In the US, the Richmond Fed manufacturing index rose to 5.00 in September, compared to a level of -7.00 in the previous month. Markets were expecting the index to rise to -6.00.
