Northern Petroleum/Wessex/Tullow – GCSE Geography Lesson for Morons

Yesterday Tullow (LSE:TLW) announced that it had let its interests in Guyana drop. The press office at Northern Petroleum (LSE:NOP) has fielded a number of calls about how Northern was going to proceed with its drilling campaign in the area. Is this an indictment of how badly history is taught in schools or how badly geography is taught?
Guyana is a former British colony where Tullow drilled one well – a duster. Guyane is still ruled by the Froggies and is a totally different place (separated from Guyana by another country, Suriname) and it is in the latter that Tullow, Northern, Wessex (LSE:WSX), Shell etc are about to drill a third well within weeks.
I never cease to be amazed at how stupid some people are.

has completed drilling operations.
The well is located offshore French Guiana.
No wonder they did not find oil!!! Perhaps someone needs to read more
