Credit Suisse Group AG (NYSE:CS): The company stock is currently trading at $26.21, down 1.47 percent from its previous close of $26.60. Credit Suisse Group announced the purchase of EMEA Wealth management unit from Morgan Stanley. The unit manages $13 billion worth of assets.

Darden Restaurants Inc. (NYSE:DRI): The stock is trading 1.35 percent higher, at $49.62. The stock is trading up after the company’s quarterly results exceeded the estimates. It reported its third quarter adjusted earnings at $1.02 per share, beating analysts’ estimates of $1.01 per share in net income.

AstraZeneca PLC (NYSE:AZN): The stock is trading up despite the news of layoffs by the company. AstraZeneca announced that it would be slashing its global headcount by 2,300 as part of its restructuring efforts. The company had earlier reported cutting 1,600 research & development positions.

FedEx Corporation (NYSE:FDX): The stock tumbled on the news of its disappointing results. FedEx missed consensus estimates as its ground revenue improved 11 percent for the third quarter.
