Here an observation from a Cignal webcast 25 March including Marvell, Lumentum, Arista, Semtech on the road to 1.6 T. Current best in class solutions are still power hungry at around 20-25 watts and need 8 costly lanes for 1.6T 2026/2027 , 400 G per lane solutions for overall ( 8x400) 3.2 T in 2029.
