Corporation (NYSE:NEM) today announced it was selected for a third
consecutive year to be part of the prestigious Dow Jones
Sustainability World Index (http://www.sustainability-index.com/).
In 2007, Newmont became the first gold company to join the DJSI
World. In addition, Newmont was chosen for the DJSI North America
Index in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009. "Consistently demonstrating
