Sulzer AG (SUN.EB) said Monday financial chief Peter Meier will be leaving the industrial firm in October for a new, undisclosed professional challenge.

Winterthur, Switzerland-based Sulzer said the search to replace Meier, who will have spent 18 years at the company, is underway and a successor will be presented in due time.
