Noble was notified by a letter dated 15 August 2006 from Dresdner Kleinwort
Wasserstein Group Limited on behalf of Allianz Cornhill Insurance Plc, an
indirect wholly owned subsidiary of Allianz AG, pursuant to Section 198 of the
Companies Act 1985, that following the purchase of 158,000 shares in the Company
on 8 August 2006, its interest in the Company totals 1,026,500 ordinary shares,
representing 6.84 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company. The
shares are registered in the name of Bank of New York (Nominees) Limited.
