Micro Focus International plc (the "Company") announces that on 21 January 2019 it purchased for Treasury the following number of its ordinary shares of 10 pence each pursuant to its $400 million extended share buyback programme, details of which were announced on 6 November 2018.

Number of shares repurchased: 88,000

Time of transaction: 08.00 - 16.29

Volume weighted average price paid per share: 1,498.04 pence

Lowest price paid per share: 1,483.50 pence

Highest price paid per share: 1,520.00 pence

Following the purchase of these shares, the remaining number of ordinary shares in issue will be 415,958,917 (excluding Treasury shares), and the Company will hold 20,975,707 ordinary shares in Treasury.
