What happens to the current commons if FNMA/FMCC are set free and an IPO happens?

There are many things that can happen. The most important is whether the senior prefs are exchanged for common shares, like with AIG, or written off.

Other important considerations include

None of your post has ANYTHING to DO with DBMM's failure to attract clients and FINALLY get their "business" untracked.

EVERYONE can see what you are doing. But go right ahead....keep BS'ing.

It's the ONLY thing you do. And EVERYONE knows it.

As I've explained previously, it doesn't matter for my purposes.

So you expect me to answer questions, with specifics, that you refuse to answer yourself. Forget 5 in a row, you're going for a full blackout on the hypocrisy bingo card.

I think this is the fundamental difference in theories. It's going to be exceedingly difficult to raise large amounts of capital if new investors are getting such a small piece of the pie. And it makes a huge difference between 80% and 95%. At only 5% shareholder owned, how much equity can they poss

You want to silence people who have valid points, just because they aren't taking legal action.

They don't have to shut up per se, they just have to accept the consequences of being shown to be hypocrites by constantly claiming things are illegal with no plans to do anything about it.

Wow, Ackman going to knock down the Three Fifty Wall.

Looks like even he bounced off of it.

I have a different hypothesis: there is a Three Fifty Magnet, as in the FNMAS:FNMA ratio tends to come back to 3.50:1. It has been like that for the last 7 years.

Maybe Bill Ackman just wants to get rid of some of his many Fannie shares at the end of the year, now that he is finally back in the black. To do so, he needs hype, otherwise massive selling could depress the stock price.

I doubt it. I don't think Ackman is the kind to do a short-term

I still go with $47. Who are you going to believe - an actual $15 Target calculator with actual numbers or Ackman?

Ackman updated his estimate to $31. Why would you still use $47?

Again - all about the Seniors. And your risk return preference re juniors v. common.

FNMA will increase to $8 from now to year end.

Come again?

Price in 2016 year end after Trump win was $4. Markets doubled in the past 8 years. Price in 2024 year end after Trump win will be $8.

Classic case of "garbage in, garbage out".

ATMH already had one of the smallest share structures in the OTC but now it's even smaller. 🏆️
