Time to sell and go short MCF.

Since the equity offering two weeks ago the stock has nearly tripled, this while energy stocks, natural gas, oil and condensate prices have all come under extreme pressure.

This looks like one investor trying to run up an illiquid stock. You could have bought al you wanted below the $0.95 offering price and now it is $2.40. There is zero fundamental reasons for it. Yes, the balance sheet is better but the offering was massively dilutive.

Gas going up this one's a keeper

G&A is 31% of revenue, accts payable exceed total current assets, $80 million in debt, capital spending (with no positive results) exceed operating cash flow. Did these guys try to destroy equity value or was it an accident. Will now have to study change in market value of MCF compared to other E&P, my guess (subject to a real analysis) is that it is record breaking value destruction. Great reversal since Feb. Technicals reset last week, and now there's a gap to fill on the upside, just as the small gap of early March was filled. MCF has been a good one to swing trade from late Feb, but also during the consolidation channel of mid March into July.
