Expecting a nice beat next week. By end next week will be back over $100. Still holding my $63s.

Bought some a while back in high $80’s, wrote some calls, now waiting to see if I’m PUT some shares @ 68 tomorrow..finished strong today, but hoping for drop tomorrow to lower cost..mainly do naked puts, covered calls on 24 diff co’s..

Morgan Stanley bumps price target to $222 before earnings tomorrow. Called $250 by years end, may get it!

Added 1,000 more shares under $180. Earnings next Monday takes it over $200, Christmas will be around $250.

$200 coming, next stop $250 after earnings in a few weeks.

Yes my newest toy (perhaps not now) is to combine high market cap blue chip stocks ranked by ADX to consider. This one is great. I looked at ADX earlier and learned everything about it and thought it was so-so. It was because I was looking at all stocks of all market caps, instead of the ones that are major companies. Wall Street has too much money to focus on stocks less than $5 imho, they need to members of a major known index.

I learned ADX rank from Jeff Cooper's book "Hit and Run Trading" and also noticed ADX usage from Linda Raschke "Street Smarts" material. All those free licensed studies in Thinkorswim are a big bonk on the head to learn and use them to me. But the hidden bonk on the head was to think like Wall Street and stop trying to make them work for stocks under $5 or so.

So now I just rank the Russell 2000 by ADX since they're all high value market cap stocks worth more than any even large trading participant. It's like trying to punch a side of a freighter with a fist. The trend or ship direction won't change at all.

About the Russell 2000 list. I noticed that is what what other millionaire traders are using as a base list. ADX is used by other millionaire traders that do not give a base list (wonder why). Anyhow so I will combine the two. So if it works, use it and rank by ADX. Then I look for a trade knowing that the trend is your friend of course managing the trade with at least a simple trend line. This is so simple now.

Took a long term position this week, best semiconductor stock in the market. New deal with Amazon AWS in January. Incredible new chip technology, like hitting Qualcomm in inning one. Crazy AI chip..

Recent target raised to $160:
Berenberg reiterated its “buy” rating on the stock. Analyst Andy Buscaglia raised his valuation estimate from $87 to $160.

Chalking Theory dictates following the $ & on a 2:00 Tuesday large enough buys less sales to jump 13mm~you do the math but if your a day trader when it hit 14 the signals popped! IMHO

Ambarella $AMBA Reverses Early Rally, Watch Out!

Last night, leading semiconductor stock, Ambarella Inc (NASDAQ:AMBA), reported earnings that seemed to be celebrated by investors on Wall Street. Unfortunately, the stock has reversed its early pre-market gains. The stock is now flat on the session trading at $39.75 a share. Traders should note that this stock has been weak since May 22, 2019 when news broke that the company could be adversely affected by tariffs and possible blacklisting with one of its largest customers. At this time, this stock looks poised to ultimately trade much lower on the charts. I will be waiting a few days to see how this pattern plays out before buying put options on this stock. The next major support level for AMBA stock will be around the $31.00 level.

$AMBA Earnings should be ok, but China is the problem.

On the 22nd may shares of NASDAQ:AMBA fell 12% following reports that its chinese customer HIK would be added to the banned list. Possibly a knee jerk reaction as this is purely speculation and AMBA is not actually registered in the USA. The earnings call might shed some light on the issue. On a more positive issue AMBA recently announced a exciting partnership with Baolong Technology to develop a advanced AI driver monitoring platform. Buyers have returned to the name in the last few days running into earnings which is encouraging and AMBA is expected to meet or beat expectations. This is a risky sector to be getting into in the current market but has a high RR and the short interest could help propel the stock on any rally.
